About Nature Walk Prints
Hi! I’m Steph, the designer, artist and explorer behind Nature Walk Prints
Nature Walk Prints was born out of my deep appreciation of the Palouse, where I have been lucky enough to call home for the past five years. During Covid, when my husband and I first started dating, we spent our weekends hiking and exploring the region as a way to stay active. On our second anniverary, I drafted a travel poster of one of our favorite spots, Kamiak Butte. What started as a gift turned into a way to capture and share the beauty of the Palouse region.
My art captures the essence of the region’s natural areas and translates them into compelling local travel posters and designs. My hope is that these designs inspire everyday exploration and foster appreciation for the Palouse.
My artistic process begins with a genuine love for exploration and a profound appreciation for the beauty that surrounds us. I often start my designs by embarking on nature walks and excursions throughout the Palouse to take photographs or draw inspiration from the landscape. I transform these experiences into captivating digital designs that capture the unique charm of the Palouse and Inland Northwest.
The heart of Nature Walk Prints lies in the desire to share the beauty of our local natural areas with the community. This journey started with the Kamiak Butte design and since then, it has expanded to feature a variety of lesser-known places. So far, I've crafted 8 unique Palouse travel poster designs, native plant designs, and general Palouse designs. I sell my designs on stickers, postcards, and prints, making my art accessible to a wide audience. In 20232 I launched Nature Walk Prints by showcasing and selling my art at local art events in Pullman and Palouse. Moving forward, my vision is to continue exploring, capturing moments, and creating art that expands throughout the Inland Northwest.
